Examples of Neuroscience Research projects:

I collaborated with Dr. Joann Peck to do a study within my exhibition at the University of Wisconsin, Madison measuring the haptic experience to woven artwork. Specifically, we compared participants’ emotional responses to interacting with the works in three stages: viewing at a distance, viewing the up close, and physically touching the textiles.
Data collected by Dr. Peck in Woven Faces exhibit

I also collaborated with Dr. Daniella Schiller, Schiller Lab for Affective Neuroscience at Mount Sinai School of Medicine; comparing participants’ emotional responses to both photographs and woven textiles of the same image.
